In this article, you will learn how to use the Media Hub as a web app.
The Media Hub can be used as a responsive browser application on smartphones or tablets. It can also be used as a progressive web app (PWA). In this case, the browser is also used as the execution environment, but you have the look and feel of a native app. To activate the app mode, the media hub page (EU login / DE login) must first be called up in the mobile browser. Then select the following function from the browser menu:
- Add to home screen > Install (Chrome)
- Add page link (Firefox)
- Add to home screen (Safari)
If you now tap on the created shortcut, the hub page is executed as a web app. This takes you directly to the application without additional navigation in the browser (the address bar is hidden in web apps).
