In this article, you will learn how to use the clipboard to copy images from the Media Hub into your Adobe InDesign document.
At this point, we assume that you know how to copy an image from the Media Hub to the clipboard. If you don't (yet) know how to do this, you can find out what you need to do here.
Once the desired image is in the clipboard, switch to your InDesign application and perform the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the rectangular frame icon in the toolbar.
Step 2: Hold down the left mouse button and drag a frame onto your document page. Then right-click and select the Insert into selection option.
Step 3: You can now use the context menu to specify the display of the inserted image. In our example, the option Adjust content proportionally was selected. This means that the original proportions are retained.
