In general, browsers should always be kept up to date, if only for security reasons. For use on a PC or Mac, we recommend Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, both browsers based on the Chromium engine. On desktop devices, these browsers are ahead in terms of speed.
We also recommend Edge or Chrome for Android devices. For mobile Apple devices (iPhone, iPad), the situation is somewhat different. Here, competitor browsers are only permitted if the WebKit browser engine developed by Apple is used. The Safari browser is based on this very engine. So you might as well use Safari.
