In this article, you will learn how to clear the browser cache.
The Media Hub is realised as a dynamic single-page web application. To improve performance (loading speed), resources that have already been called up (e.g. preview images) are temporarily stored in the browser memory so that they do not have to be downloaded again each time. This process is called caching. As scripts are also cached, it can sometimes be helpful to force the cache to be emptied, e.g. if you have been informed of an update but the new features are not yet visible to you.
Even if a software bug is to be reported, it is useful to have cleared the cache beforehand. Some problems actually solve themselves as a result.
Depending on the browser and operating system, there are various key combinations for clearing the cache. An overview can be found here. Of course, the cache can also be cleared via the respective browser menu.
