In this article, you will learn how to make the most of the visual search.
The visual search is a new, AI-based search method that makes it possible to find images using natural language without the need for metadata. This means that ordinary everyday language sentences can be used to search for images (more on the technical background in the teamnext blog).
In practice: You will find the visual search button in the search bar. Click on it to switch from standard search to AI mode. You can now enter any sentence or half-sentence (regardless of capitalisation). The search query can be formulated specifically, e.g: Photo of an elderly man sitting in a rowing boat and fishing. If no hits are found, less important search criteria should be gradually removed.
Visual Search is particularly practical in combination with filters. It is also possible to restrict the images to specific people.
In addition, pure graphic files (logos, lettering, etc.) can be excluded from the search results, as they are often irrelevant. The corresponding checkbox can be found under AI settings. The visual search filter type must be activated for this.
