This article explains how all files can be sorted chronologically.
A useful way to stay oriented is to sort all uploaded files by upload date.*
To do this, select the top folder row (with the folder icon) in the left navigation and activate the view mode Media Stream. In this view, all files are displayed. In the sort menu (↑↓), select Upload date and Descending to show the most recently uploaded files first.
Tip: If it is known that a file was uploaded recently, scrolling down slightly in this view is usually sufficient to locate it quickly.
* In earlier versions referred to as Media Timeline and available as a separate view.
