This article explains available view modes, sorting options, and display options in the Media Hub.
The view mode is selected via the menu at the top right above the results list. The following modes are available:
- Media stream: tile-based view of files with preview images (where available).. Suitable for quickly browsing and comparing visual content.
- Folder: folder tiles including file counts. Suitable for navigating folder structures.
- List: tabular view with detailed file information (file type, uploader, date, dimensions/size, and status). Suitable for data-oriented work.
Grid
In the right-hand filter bar, under Grid options, the minimum height of preview images can be adjusted using a slider: min. 100 pixels, max. 1000 pixels.
Sorting
Displayed content can be sorted using the following criteria:
- Relevance (default)
- Upload date
- Recording date
- File name
The sort order can additionally be switched between Ascending and Descending. Sorting functions are also available in external shares.
Display options
Depending on the selected view mode, additional display options are available:
- Show file name on hover, Always show file name, or Hide file name
- Show file extensions or Hide file extensions
- Shorten file name on the left or Shorten file name on the right
- Flexible layout or Square layout
- Show duplicates or Hide duplicates
Display options affect the presentation only and have no impact on the underlying search or filter results.
