This article explains the structure and purpose of the left-hand navigation bar. It can be used to quickly call up relevant content from folders and albums as well as on the basis of tags.
Structure of the navigation bar
The navigation bar is located on the left-hand side and is divided into five sections:
- Favorites
- Albums
- Tags
- Folders
- Personal folders
Handling
Subordinate structures can be shown and hidden using drop-down elements. The number of linked files is displayed at the end of each navigation bar. The currently selected navigation line is highlighted in color in the bar. The associated content appears in the main view (centre).
Using the toggle icon (at the bottom), the navigation bar can be switched between a full and a compact view.
Favorites
Frequently used folders, albums or tags can be pinned in this section. Favorites can be added or removed using the star symbol (top right in the main view).
Albums
This section lists all available albums. Albums are used to curate media independently of their folder structure. If sub-albums are available, these can be accessed via the drop-down element. Clicking on an album opens the contained elements directly in the main view.
Tags
In this section, you can navigate through all existing tags (keywords). A tag structure can be hierarchical and contain subordinate tags. Selecting a tag displays all media that are labelled with this tag. The view therefore corresponds to a filtered search.
Folders
This section is used to open up the folder structure of the Media Hub, consisting of workspaces (top-level folder) and all levels created below.
Personal folder
This area is only visible to the respective user. It is suitable for private work or content that is not shared with other users.
