This article explains how to download files from the Media Hub.
Download multiple files
Select any files in the grid and click Download in the bottom action bar.
Download a single file
For individual files, downloads are also available via the Media details. Just select Download from the bottom mini toolbar.
In both cases, various export options are available:
- Original file
- Custom format
- Custom download templates (if available)
Selecting Original file exports images at their highest resolution, including all metadata.
The following options can be configured under Custom format:
-
Image size* – Original, 1700px, 600px, 300px, custom (pixel value = longest side)
* Background information can be found in this blog article - File format – JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WebP, PDF
- Quality – adjustable via slider (1% = highest compression, 100% = lowest compression)
- Color space / color model – sRGB, CMYK, YCbCr (depending on file format)
- Pixel density (in dpi) – not an absolute size and varies depending on the output device or medium
- Metadata export – All metadata, Extended metadata (see here), Copyright only
- Purpose of use – appears in the download log
- Watermark – file selection including image positioning; more information here
⚠ Note: Multiple files are always bundled into a ZIP archive.
Crop images
Individual images can be cropped if required. This option is only available via the Media details. After selecting Custom format, crop templates can be chosen at the top (for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or custom purposes; see Settings > Templates > Image cropping).
While templates use fixed pixel dimensions, the Freeform option allows cropping using the mouse or by entering pixel values directly.
