In this article, you will learn how to create, translate and view your own metadata fields.
The options for mapping individual metadata structures have been maximised with this feature. Administrators can define new metadata fields in the organization settings under Own metadata and optionally create them in multiple languages.
To create a new metadata field, click on + Add custom metadata field. A window then opens in which the name and layer type are defined. Four different types are available for this:
- Text field (multiline)
- Selection list
- Date field
- Text (single line | 160 characters)
All metadata fields can be created in multiple languages. To create new translations or edit existing ones, click on the 文A icon.
The metadata fields created here are then displayed in the media details (right sidebar) under Custom metadata. Textual field content can be added and edited there using the pencil icon.
The 文A icon for translations can also be found within the text editor. This can be used to translate content into different languages.
There are language buttons at the bottom of the section for custom metadata (e.g. DE for German or EN for English). If there are translation pairs, you can easily switch back and forth between the respective languages.
