This article explains how to edit metadata.
Method 1 (single file edit): In the section Metadata of the right-hand sidebar (media details), use the pencil icon.
Method 2 (single and batch processing): Select one or more media items. Then, in the action bar (at the bottom), choose Metadata from the More menu.
In the processing panel that opens, all available metadata fields (including, if applicable, extended and custom metadata) can be filled in and edited. The available actions are listed below. Using the disk icon, metadata templates can also be selected.
- None (leave unchanged)
- Replace
- Replace if empty
- Prepend
- Append
- Clear
