In this article, you will learn how to fill albums automatically.
The dynamic filling of albums is particularly helpful. There are three different options available for this, which can also be combined with each other:
- Option 1: by tag (keyword)
- Option 2: by person tag
- Option 3: via image similarity (AI-based similarity vectors)
To set this up, you need to specify once which tags or image similarities are to be taken into account. To do this, click on Edit for the desired album in the overview. In the Smart album tab, you now have the option of selecting existing tags or people via the input mask.
💡 Tip: You can, for example, create tags for certain events or recurring events, certain products (article numbers) or product ranges, e.g. HannoverMesse2024, Press conferences24/25, 00263850, BILLY shelves etc.
To automatically add similar images, you must first select one or more reference images in the Media Hub. The Add selected file button then appears under Automatically add similar images. You then have the option to further customise the similarity search:
- With similarity to all images
- With similarity to any image
Accuracy of the similarity search:
- Accurate
- Balanced
- Flexible
In the Actions tab, the Search and add similar images button can be used to add existing images that match the criteria. Images that are added in this way are marked accordingly in the album.
