This article explains how to create personal access tokens for the Media Hub API.
Personal access tokens allow you to access the Media Hub API from your own scripts or applications.* They are available to every account, including guest users and photographers.
* If you need custom endpoints beyond this, please contact teamnext.
Creating a token
In the settings under Personal access token, click Create access token, enter a Name and optionally select an Expiration date. Without an expiration date, the token remains valid indefinitely. Click Create token to create it.
⚠ Note: The token is displayed only once and must be copied to the clipboard immediately. For security reasons, it cannot be retrieved later.
Using and managing tokens
When sending requests to the API, pass the token in the X-API-Key header. Existing tokens can be edited or deleted in the list. A deleted token becomes invalid immediately.
By the way, the CI HUB connector does not require a token; you sign in with your Media Hub account there.
