Renaming a single file
In the media details below the preview image, click the displayed file name > enter the desired character string > confirm with Enter.
Characters to avoid
The following characters should not be used: ~ " * : < > ? / \ |. Although they are accepted, they are replaced by underscores during export. Further information is available here.
Bulk renaming
Select any number of files > in the action bar under ⋮ More, click Rename > the batch processing panel opens > optionally set a different sorting > enter the new file name and a separator (default is a hyphen).
The file names are numbered consecutively (based on the selected sorting), e.g. -001 -002 -003, etc. A two-column overview showing the current and new name is displayed below the input mask. If everything is correct, complete the process by clicking Save.
