In this article, you will learn how to define download options for the Media Portal.
Under the Downloads tab, you must first decide whether downloads are permitted. If yes, you can specify which download sizes should be offered to the user: Original file, various standard sizes or customised formats.
If, for security reasons, a download should only take place via a link sent by e-mail, the following option must be ticked: Only allow download via e-mail. A free text can then be entered. This will appear in the e-mail sent to the respective user. The standard fields Name, Organization and Purpose can be made mandatory if required.
If administrators of your organization are to be informed about the request for a download link, they can be selected via the Notify user field. The notification is sent by e-mail.
