With batch processing, actions can be applied to several files at the same time (e.g. editing metadata, setting tags, renaming files).
Batch processing is carried out in three steps:
Step 1: Select multiple files
- Select files in the overview using the checkboxes (top left in the preview image).
- An action bar with the number of selected files appears at the bottom of the grid area.
💡 Tip: Hold down the Shift key to select files collectively.
Step 2: Select action
- The actions Download, Albums and Tags can be accessed directly from the action bar.
- Further actions can be selected via the More menu, including Licences, Metadata, Rename, Status and Move.
- As soon as an action has been selected, the batch processing panel opens.
Step 3: Enter data for batch processing
All actions are now listed on the left-hand side. The action selected in step 2 is highlighted in color. Possible options appear to the right of it.
Each available action can be applied to the selection, but must be completed one by one. The following actions are available:
- Album: select an existing album or create a new album
- Folder: select target folder and move files
- Tags: add or remove tags or person tags
- Status: set files to Shared, In progress or On hold
- Licence: select licence provider and licence
- Share: select an existing share link or create a new one
- Download: define download details (image size, file format, color space, etc.)
-
Metadata: edit metadata fields, actions such as Replace or Append included
(Note: not every file type supports metadata) - Custom metadata: populate individually created metadata fields
- Recording location: requires additional GPS map display module
- Datasets: select existing datasets or create new ones (requires additional module)
- Rename: systematic renaming of files
