In this article, you will learn what smart tags are and how to activate them.
Smart tags are tags (keywords) that are automatically generated by an image recognition routine. The optional Smart Tagging module processes common image formats (including many RAW files) and recognises almost all everyday objects in digital photos.
💡 Tip: In the Tag Manager, smart tags are initially listed under Unclassified. From there, they can be moved to structured hierarchies.
How can Smart Tagging be activated? Simply call up the settings for a specific folder (or workspace) and tick Smart Tagging in the AI modules field.
If smart tags are to be created for media that has already been imported, the Re-index AI data action must be applied to the folder.
